  Makita Cordless Oscillating Desk/Tripod/Hanging Fan | 180mm

  
  This oscillating fan from Makita operates from their 18V (or 14.4V) LXT Lithium-ion battery pack system, allowing you to use your existing power tool batteries to get an excellent runtime from this fan. It provides a surprising movement of air considering the small diameter of the three blade fan. The battery (not included) sits on the back of the fan motor. You can set the fan speed to one of three settings, and enable or disable the oscillation. You can also set a sleep timer to allow the unit to automatically switch off after 1, 2 or 4 hours of operation. You can set the fan on a work surface where its rubber feet will keep it in place, or you can hook it over a pole with the built-in folding hook. Alternatively if you have a 5/8"-11 UNC threaded tripod handy, you can mount the fan atop that. Another option for powering the fan is 12V DC via a centre-positive barrel jack of the correct size, however this power supply is not included.
